The Flagship Building

Coming Fall 2024

Bayit Brigade’s new home for Lone Soldiers is opening in Ramat Gan in Fall 2024. Open to active soldiers and new veterans, the building will have 60 beds, study spaces, lounges, communal kitchens, and an expansive rooftop. GUARANTOR FUND

The Guarantor Fund enables Bayit Brigade to cosign apartments for soldiers that need the financial backing to sign a lease.

How We Make a Difference.

“Finding this apartment was the best thing that has happened to me during my service. This beautiful place gives me something to look forward to every time I get off from the army.”

JORDAN, Toronto

“Living in a nice area where we can go to the beach and rest allows us to return to base refreshed. We can focus on the army knowing that Bayit Brigade is there to look after the apartment if something comes up.”

Adam, Argentina

“Being a Lone Soldier I often feel out of my comfort zone. Having a home base at my Bayit Brigade apartment has helped keep me grounded. It’s been extremely important to me.”

Milan, Miami

“Finding an apartment is really tough for Lone soldiers, especially on an army budget. Bayit Brigade came in and set everything up. They provided me with a great apartment, at an amazing price, with awesome roommates. I am so grateful.”

Harry, New York

“I started my degree after getting released from the the army. The intensity of my studies limited my ability to work. The housing Scholarship from Bayit Brigade significantly aided my financial stability, and helped me build my new path despite the challenges of being a released Lone Soldier studying in Hebrew in Israel. I want to thank you for the support, and hope you continue to help Lone Soldiers like me in ways they will not forget.”

What is a Lone Soldier?

Meet the Bayit Brigade Lone Soldiers living in our apartment on Rabbi Pinchas Street in Tel Aviv-Yaffo.

Nikolai (Ukraine), Milan (Miami, USA), and Adam (Argentina).

A soldier in the IDF that has no immediate family in Israel.

There are 6,000 Lone Soldiers from 80 countries in the IDF today. Half are volunteers from abroad that leave home to fight for Israel, many coming from North America, Europe, Russia, and Ukraine. Others are new immigrants, Israelis from broken homes, and former ultra-Orthodox with no connection to family.

Soldiers must apply for Lone Soldier status with the army to receive extra benefits including a small stipends for housing.

Lone Soldiers face unique challenges as they adjust to life in a foreign country. Many struggle with homesickness and end up leaving Israel after the army. Our mission is to help them stay.
