Introducing: Mara Apelstein

We are proud to welcome Mara Apelstein as Bayit Brigade's full-time Program Manager. Mara brings a wealth of knowledge in community organizing and Jewish engagement. Mara has worked at the Israel Experience, UMass Amherst Hillel, and Leket - the National Food Bank of Israel.

Originally from Delaware, Mara made Aliyah in 2008. Having been a new immigrant herself, she understands the challenges Lone Soldiers face navigating a new country alone. Mara lives on a kibbutz with her husband and two daughters, and is an avid softball and netball player. We are thrilled to have her on our team.
