The First Guarantor Fund for Lone Soldiers
Bayit Brigade is proud to be the first, and only organization to launch a Guarantor Fund exclusively for Lone Soldiers. We believe it will be a significant breakthrough for Lone Soldier housing.
With the help of our donors, the Guarantor Fund will enable Bayit Brigade to co-sign apartments for soldiers that need the financial backing to sign a lease.
To rent an apartment in Israel, applicants must have sufficient income. As new immigrants with small army salaries, this is a major barrier for Lone Soldiers. Many are turned down by landlords and are unable to rent a home.
We officially launched the Guarantor Fund last week, co-signing alongside Nicole, a soldier from South Africa. Nicole works as a technician on the Iron Dome along the Gaza boarder. She is attending IDC in the fall after completing her service. We are thrilled to support her through her transition to civilian life.
