A Message from Our President on the Recent Violence in Israel.

Dear Bayit Brigade Family,

Just as four of our soldiers moved into their new home in Tel Aviv this week, they received notice to report back to base in preparation for a military operation. We have been notified that many of our tenants have been mobilized into action. Several of our once lively apartments have suddenly gone quiet.

While we knew this day might someday come, it's hard to come to terms with. As an organization, we feel a responsibility to protect the Soldiers in our program and look out for them. It is hard not to be afraid for their safety.

The admiration of our lone soldier community goes without question, but today their bravery is once again made real to us. In response we are doubling down on our commitment to provide Lone Soldiers with affordable housing. Our apartments are not just a home they return to once their mission is complete, but a foundation upon which they live out their dreams of creating a life in Israel.

We are taking steps on the ground to support our soldiers. We have one new soldier that was called to the Gaza border within the last 24 hours. He was in the process of moving and was unable to move his belongings into his room. We are working hard to furnish and complete his room so he'll have a personal space to return to where he can rest and regroup. It's with the ongoing support of our donors that we are able to ensure everything will be in place for his heroic return. Thank you.

Bayit Brigade's mission thrives in a time of peace, and we pray for a swift resolution to the recent violence. Please keep our soldiers in your thoughts over the coming days.

You can make a donation to help Lone Soldiers on our website. Thank you for being part of our special community and for supporting these brave young men and women.

With Love,

Aaron Lyon
